Dear Parents,

We all know a college education is essential -- it’s a cornerstone to future success, a great job and an awesome life.  But, getting in to college these days is more confusing and more competitive than ever.  And PAYING for it isn’t getting any easier, either.

Consider this:

    1. There are 500,000 MORE students applying to college these days than just 10 years ago.

    2. 70 % of colleges reported an increase in the number of applications over the previous year.

    3. Many colleges -- and it’s not just the “ultra-selective” Ivy League and Ivy-wannabe colleges --  are reporting double-digit increases in applications and record lows in admissions.

“Even the local “State U”, long considered the back-up or “safety” college by many families, is getting harder to get into!”

Just last year, for example:

    1. University of Maryland reported accepting approximately 40% of over 27,000 applicants

    2. Albany State University (GA) accepted just 28.7% of applicants.

    3. University of North Carolina, Chapel HIll accepted only 34.8% of the 20,090 who applied.

    4. Morgan State: 37.7% out of the 11,804 who applied were accepted.

    5. College of William and Mary: only 33.7% of the 10, 853 applicants were accepted

    6. UCLA: 23.6% from the 50,755 who applied

    7. Mississippi Valley State:  only 25.4% were accepted

This is just a sampling of what’s going on at public universities across the country!  With acceptance rates this low, at these schools, for every ONE student who gets in, 3 or 4 are REJECTED -- at what is still considered by many parents and students to be a “back-up” or “safety” school.

“In today’s age of the overstuffed admissions office, you need to figure out how to get the attention of the college admissions officer no matter what school you apply to!”

But not only do you have to worry about getting in, you have to be concerned about paying for it. Because, let’s face it, college is also EXPENSIVE!  The average cost of 4 years of a
college education these days is anywhere from $50,000 to as much as $160,000. You need to start thinking NOW about how you’ll come up with that exorbitant amount of money when the acceptance letters arrive.

Now, the initial, gut reaction often is "we'll pay whatever we need to - I just want my little Johnny/Jenny to be at the right school for him/her."

I meet many families looking for my help where at least one of the parents will say that - typically with the other parent looking rather green at the prospect of coming up with the money! (Moms, we're the ones often guilty of this one).

That may be but sit down and fully realize the implications of that statement.

Let's say, for example, you're a family making a combined income of $80,000 per year (and honestly, how much you make really is irrelevant -- we all tend to spend what we have!)  and your little Johnny/Jenny picks a school that doesn't offer you much financial aid and you're faced with a $28,000 bill each year.

How are you planning to come up with that money?

  1. Out of your current budget?  Can you readjust and reduce your spending habits for your entire family’s expenses?  Will you now cut your family living expenses by $28,000 so that the money can go to the college bill?

  2. Will it come out of your savings?  Remember, it's AT LEAST four years so you'll need to have a minimum of $112,000 saved up.  As I'm writing this many of my families have reported to me that the investment accounts intended for college are now worth less than half of what they were one year ago (so are their retirement accounts, other investments, etc. -- they’ll need to be replenished at the same time you’re paying those college bills.)

  3. Will you borrow that money?  As I'm writing this, it's VERY difficult if not impossible to get anyone to lend you money these days.  That will eventually pass, but in the meantime, you may not be able to count on that.  But, let's say you do borrow that.  You're again looking - in just this example - at AT LEAST $112,000 in loans - and that's before interest.  Will you be able to pay it off in the 10 or 15 years before you want to retire?

  4. Sacrifice Your Retirement?  Will the money you'll need to pay it off mean that you're not saving for retirement?  What other needs will be sacrificed in order to pay off that money?

Let’s first agree that there’s nothing wrong with you --- it’s natural that you want to do everything in your power to set your child up with the tools necessary for future success.  No one BUT YOU is out there looking out for your student’s and your family’s best interests.

BUT, you also don’t have countless hours to figure it all out (everyone who feels they have plenty of time on their hands and can add another “full-time job” to their plate and still meet all their current obligations can stop reading right now!)

You need a system so that nothing accidently falls through the cracks. One that allows you to spend your time and energy on just getting this all DONE (and done right!).  You need to be able to:

    1. Help your student identify his strengths so you can be sure that the careers he’s thinking about are the right fit for him.

    2. Target the right colleges that not only have the programs she needs and wants, but that also have money to help you pay the college bill.

    3. Figure out the best strategies to help him stand out from among the THOUSANDS of other applicants and their applications sitting in the college admissions office.

    4. Help your student position herself to be the best candidate possible -- making it harder for colleges to put her in the “no” pile!

    5. Avoid the common mistakes that can cost your student his or her opportunity to get in or cost you more money!

    6. Find the time to get this all done while still getting things done at work, paying attention to your other children, attending school activities, taking a vacation, etc.

  1. You Don’t Have To “Play The Lottery” and Take a Chance With Your Child’s Future!  You Can Take Back Control From the Colleges And Put MORE MONEY Back In Your Pocket!

I’m Jeanmarie Keller, owner of Keller College Services and creator of the Get NOTICED, Get IN, Get MONEY System.   Since 2003,  I've worked with hundreds of students and their families, helping them  create a college admissions and financial aid strategy to get them NOTICED in the admissions office, get IN at the college right for them and, most importantly, get MONEY to help pay that college bill!

I started helping families because I kept encountering students and their families who kept describing the same situation (maybe you can relate to one of their stories):

  1. BulletThey haven't really saved anything towards college and now that it's time to apply they've got to figure out how to make this work.

  2. BulletThey've saved some towards college, but it's not enough for all four years.

  3. BulletThey have the money, but, like all families, they want to be sure they don't spend more than is necessary.

I could see the mistakes they were making and it was upsetting to me because I'd be thinking -- "if they just did x and y and add z" they'd get money.   Because of my unique background in BOTH the education and the business worlds, I knew I could truly help.

The solution is having a step-by-step process that works to get you noticed in the admissions office, helps you put together a great application that closes the deal and gets you IN and most importantly makes sure you don't miss any steps that can get you the MONEY you need to help pay the college bill.

My Get Noticed, Get IN, Get MONEY College System is the step-by step solution for both parents and students who want to make sure they don't miss any college opportunities.  The System outlines the same PROVEN principles and strategies I've used with hundreds of my coaching clients since 2003.  When certain steps were followed, and certain strategies employed, it produces consistent, repeatable and verifiable results.

In today’s highly competitive admissions game, students need to figure out how they stand apart from the competition, target the right schools that have what they need, and deliver a message that motivates the school to say "Yes! We need you on our campus!"

Done correctly, at the right schools, this leads to getting money to help pay the college bill.

"I'm Going To Save Well Over $200,000

On My Son's College Education!"

Dear Jeanmarie:

I wanted to send you my appreciation for all of your help with my son's college application, financial aid and scholarship planning.  The final results were, quite frankly, beyond our wildest dreams.

Thanks to you, our college expenses were reduced by 84%.  There is NO WAY we would have been able to manage the process and achieve this level of success without you.

Besides the amount of savings you helped us achieve, I also appreciate the amount of time you spent with our son, helping him identify schools that would be a good fit for him.  The college application process can be pretty overwhelming so it was great to have a consultant with the deep understanding of so many colleges in the country and narrowing down the list to a set group that had the elements we were looking for.

I am so pleased with the results, I have recommended you to my sister who is now beginning the process with her high schooler.

Thanks again for everything.

Sincerely,

Patricia Locke

“I’ve Cracked The College Admissions and Financial Aid Code”

As a result of my years privately coaching students and their parents through the college admissions and financial aid process, I created the Get NOTICED, Get IN, Get MONEY™ System, a series of 7 important college admissions and financial aid strategy building steps every student can (and should) apply to get NOTICED, get IN and, most importantly, get MONEY to help pay that college bill!

Today, all I do is teach, speak, coach and write about how to Get Noticed, Get In and Get Money, nothing else.  I’m here to tell you that there’s hope.  I do this because it’s really upsetting to see really qualified kids and their parents get frustrated and bang their heads against the wall trying to figure out what they want to do, find the right colleges and programs that can help them reach their goals and struggling to come up with the money to pay the bill.

You won’t be taught how to do this by your high school counselor or the colleges you’re applying to --- it’s no wonder you’ve been struggling. The good news, once you’re taught EXACTLY what to do, how to do it, and what really works as opposed to what’s a nice idea that doesn’t amount to anything, then you’ll see results.

"I'll save at least $70,000!"

To whom it may concern:

During the spring semester of our daughter's her junior year ... we began our college search. At the time, we were concerned that we would have to pay the entire bill.  Not wanting to limit our daughter to the local state school, we decided to work with Jean Keller.

Throughout the college search effort, Jean was very helpful, working with us to us figure it all out – the college search, evaluating schools, financial aid concerns, the forms, even helping us weigh the pros and cons of the actual final selection of a school.

As a direct result of our work with Jean, my daughter is getting a great education and I'm on track to save at least $70,000 on her college education!

Thank you Jean and KCS…

Now, imagine your student (and you) jumping up and down saying, “Yesss!!  I just got in to another school today!”  There’s no feeling like it, especially after all the time, effort and hard work you’ll put into finding, evaluating, targeting, selecting and applying to the right colleges.  The cool thing is that once you start having options, when done correctly and with the right schools, it also provides you leverage when it comes to the money you need to help you pay the bill!

"Best of Both Worlds: Attending Her First Choice School And We're Saving MONEY!"

We were recommended to Keller College Services (KCS) by friends.  Jean and her staff helped our daughter with her college admissions applications quite thoroughly and with good cheer, helping her craft the right message to the schools right for her.

The financial aid process was really important to us and here, Jean was outstanding.  Each step was critical.  She guided us through it all,  the applications, all the paper, dealing with our CPA, our concerns, etc.  All were dealt with professionally and with an excellent result!

This fall, our daughter will be attending her first choice college, supported by a generous amount of financial aid.

"Sending Our Daughter To College

And Paying Half Price!"

We decided to get help with the college admissions and financial aid process because we were dreading the whole paperwork process.  We also needed to know what to do to receive as much aid as possible.

Jean Keller and Keller College Services were so knowledgeable and efficient!  My daughter's senior year in high school was especially stressful.  I can't imagine what we would have done without KCS. Also, Jean is a very good intermediary between parents and students.

If I could offer one piece of advice to families just beginning the college search, admissions and financial aid process it would be to hire KCS to help with the whole process.  It's much more complicated than you might imagine.  KCS takes a lot of the stress out of the process.

The help with suggestions as to where to apply, help with the essays, reminders regarding deadlines, help with the FAFSA forms, the evaluation and of all the financial aid offers from the colleges where my daughter was accepted were invaluable!

Thanks for all the help!

"3rd Time's A Charm: Less Stress and More Money in Our Pocket!"

To Whom It May Concern:

Choosing to hire Keller College Services when our third daughter was a high school junior was one of the best decisions we made as parents.  We had already been through the college selection process two times before with our two older daughters, but we had not had much luck in securing any financial aid.  Actually, just helping them through the college admissions process had left us too weary to even apply for many financial aid options.

The third time around for us, working with Jean Keller was a much more positive experience. Jean kept us on a very workable schedule of deadlines for admissions and financial aid.  Jean helped our daughter to decide what colleges to apply to based on her interests and qualifications and it was much less stressful having Jean edit her admissions essays.

Jean also aided us in getting our family finances in order the year before it counted for financial aid.  The strategies we implemented made it more favorable for us to be considered for financial need.  All throughout the process, we felt we were on top of the situation instead of being overwhelmed by it.

Our daughter was accepted to all but one of the colleges that she applied to and was offered very generous financial aid packages at each institution.  She accepted admission at Johns Hopkins University.  With the financial aid that we qualified for with Jean's help, we feel that we will be able to afford her education at one of the top-notch universities in the country.

The best reward has been having our daughter tell us how well she feels she fits in at Johns Hopkins University academically, athletically and socially.

Sincerely,

Pat and Doreen C.

Parents of Student from Centennial High School,

You will recover the investment you put into this home coaching system!

Think about it... I want you to stop reading for just one moment and ask yourself, “What is one really good financial aid offer worth to me in terms of money I can save on my child’s college education?”  My clients have consistently received, on average, $12,365 to $15,574 per year in financial aid.  So, technically, just one financial aid offer would far cover the investment in the Get Noticed, Get IN, Get MONEY Home Study System™.  Cool, right?

If you think about the lifetime value of that EXTRA financial aid money, it’s actually  four times the original number you thought of.  For my clients, that is actually, on average, $17,460 to $26,296 more money in their pockets. That’s money that can be spent on other children, on a vacation, on graduate school, on a future wedding or invested for retirement...something to think over.

The information and skills your student learns with the Get Noticed, Get IN, Get MONEY Home Study System™ can be applied again and again.  Right now the steps will help with the college process; but, the same skills will be used again when it’s time to step out of the college environment and into the working one.  The information and skills learned now will ultimately net you 100 times what you ended up investing in the system during the next 10-20 years of your student’s future success!

Whereby my private coaching program is an investment in the thousands of dollars total, the Get Noticed, Get IN, Get MONEY Home Coaching System™ was created so that you can do this on your own, at your own pace in a REALLY affordable way.

Remember what I said about being tired of seeing talented, qualified students and their parents banging their heads against the wall? Well, I’ve chosen to make it easy for you to afford this system.

Instead of charging the cost of my private coaching programs or even the cost of my 2-day Get NOTICED, Get IN, Get MONEY Application Bootcamp, I’m making this entire Get NOTICED, Get IN, Get MONEY package available at the outstanding price of only $187.

I know, I know... I’m not charging enough.  But, remember, this is subject to change at any time and it WILL go up.  this offer is only guaranteed for a limited time, so pick it up at this special price today, before it goes up.

That includes a 180+ page binder manual with all of the assignments, worksheets, templates, scripts and letters you need to get through the often-confusing college admissions and financial aid process in HALF the time.  Nowhere else will you find it as easy to put all these necessary elements in place, in clear language and very specific assignments.  My clients have repeatedly told me that my unique ability is to take huge amounts of overwhelming information and put it together in easy-to-follow, logical and chronological steps.

Additionally, your satisfaction is completely and absolutely guaranteed.

That’s my personal promise.

Of course, your materials will be shipped immediately.

"I'm Saving At Least $180,000 On My Kids’ College Educations!"

To Whom It May Concern:

Getting in to the right college is a real journey.

When my son, Jon, applied to college he didn't have a clue what he wanted to do and needed lots of help.  I remember asking him if he wanted to go to a small or large school, in an urban or rural setting and he said, "Mom, I have no idea."

That is when I realized we needed help!  We attended a free college seminar by Jean Keller of Keller College Services and I knew that we had found the help we needed.

As a family, we sat down with Jeanmarie to discuss the various options.  She spent a great deal of time trying to find out the type of college that would best suit my son.  She encouraged him to visit and helped him narrow down his search.  She had so many available resources.  Once he was able to select a few colleges, Jean helped him with the application process, especially helping him with his essay.  Jeanmarie discussed with him the important components of his essay and then helped him to edit it before the application was submitted.

It wasn't just my son that needed the help – the financial aid forms were overwhelming. Again, this is where Keller College Services was my salvation.  We selected the option of having them do the financial forms and it was such a relief.  I truly believe that the assistance we received made a significant difference in the amount of funding that we received for my son.  So, the extra money spent for Keller College Services was worth every penny.

My son was accepted into several colleges and Jeanmarie reviewed the financial packages with us.  I didn't realize that there were so many hidden costs and the amounts being offered really varied from college to college.  Evaluating the financial aid awards and having the subtle differences pointed out really helped us to assess the true costs involved.

My son is now a junior in college and doing very well.  He is attending a college he loves and it is one of the colleges Jean suggested to him.

My daughter is a senior in high school and we have once again used this excellent service.  The helped she has received with her essays has been invaluable.  KCS also helped us with all of the financial aid paperwork – these forms can be so confusing.

My daughter applied to eight colleges and having several different financial forms to complete has been somewhat difficult.  Being able to have assistance with the forms has made life so much easier.

"Are you prepared to plan and win at a game for which you don't necessarily know all the rules of the game?"  This is on Jean's website and it is so true.  Applying to college today is so different than it was twenty or thirty years ago.  We are fortunate to have help available to us.

My daughter's hard work with Jean paid off with acceptances at most of her colleges and she will be attending her dream school, Smith, next fall.

Thank you, Keller College Services.
